About WKU Spirit

The WKU Spirit Squads proudly represent Western Kentucky University by energizing Hilltopper fans, promoting school pride and serving as ambassadors for the University and WKU Athletics. Consisting of the nationally recognized Cheerleading teams, Dance team and the beloved mascot Big Red, the Spirit Squads support WKU Athletics while also appearing at campus, community and alumni events throughout the year.

When you participate in the WKU Spirit Squads 50/50 Raffle, you're doing more than taking a chance to win—you are helping support the student-athletes and mascot who embody the spirit of WKU. Funds raised enhance the experience of the Cheerleading teams, Dance Team and Big Red by helping cover travel, uniforms, equipment, national competitions and other program needs that contribute to their continued success.
